Eğlence sektöründe hem imalat alanında hem de işletmeci olarak uzun yıllardır faaliyetlerini sürdüren Meridyen Games, yeni ürünler için AR-GE çalışmalarını yürütürken diğer yandan da Türkiye ve Avrupa’da heyecanlı projelere imza atmaya hazırlanıyor. Meridyen Games Yönetim Kurulu Başkan Yardımcısı Elvis Elif Akay ile Kasım sayımızda yeni projelerini konuştuk.
Türkiye ve globalde şu anki proje ve yatırımlarınızdan söz eder misiniz? Yılın ilk yarısını geride bırakırken bünyenizi performans ve yatırımlarınız açısından değerlendirir misiniz?
Türkiye ve komşu ülkelerde birkaç eğlence merkezi projesi gerçekleştirdik ve halen de bazı mevcut tesislerin yenilenme işlerini tamamlamak üzereyiz.
Diğer taraftan imalat işlerimiz son sürat devam etmekte. Hem çarpışan araba ve pisti hem de karnaval grubu ürünlerin imalatını bitirerek satışa başlamış bulunmaktayız. Şu an yeni ürünlerin AR-GE çalışmaları heyecanlı bir şekilde devam etmekte. Son etapta ise, işletmeci olarak faaliyet gösterdiğimiz eğlence merkezi yatırımında hem Türkiye hem Avrupa’da heyecanlı projelerin planlama aşamasındayız.
Oyun alanlarınızı oluşturup, ürünlerinizi üretirken teknolojiden ne boyutta yararlanıyorsunuz? Özellikle her yaşa uygun ürün ve oyun alanları oluştururken ne gibi hususlara dikkat ediyorsunuz?
Meridyen Games olarak farklı yaş gruplarını farklı bölgelerde konumlandırıp herkesin rahat eğlenmesini sağlamak önceliğimiz. Diğer yandan birinci kalite Avrupa standartlarında ürünler kullanarak hem sağlımızı hem de güvenliğimizi kontrol altına tutmuş oluruz. Trendleri ve yeni teknolojiyi yakından takip etmek de son derece önemli. Kısaca misafirlerimizin rahat eğlenecekleri, kendilerini güvende hissedecekleri ve tekrar tekrar geri dönmek isteyecekleri bir ortam oluşturmaya çalışıyoruz.
MERIDYEN GAMES TO PUT THEIR SIGNATURE UNDER EXCITING PROJECTS IN TURKEY AND EUROPE
Meridyen Games, a company that has been a key actor of the amusement industry for many years both as a manufacturer and as an operator, is preparing to put their signature under exciting projects in Turkey and Europe, along with ongoing R&D studies for new products. In our November issue, we talked with Meridyen Games Vice Board Chairman Elvis Elif Akay about their new projects.
Can you tell us about your current projects and investments in Turkey and globally? And having left behind the first half of the year, can you evaluate your organization with a view to performance and investments?
We have realized several amusement center projects in Turkey and neighboring countries and we are about to complete the renovation of a number of existing facilities. On the other hand, we also have manufacturing works that continue at full speed. We have fi nished the production and started the sales of both bumper cars and tracks as well as carnival group products. There are also ongoing R&D studies for new products which we are very excited about. And last but not least, we are in the planning phase of exciting projects both in Turkey and Europe as part of amusement center investments in which we act as an operator.
To what extent do you benefit from technology while creating your playgrounds and producing your products? What do you pay attention to in order to draw attention, especially when creating products and playgrounds suitable for all ages?
Our priority at Meridyen Games is to create different zones for different age groups so that everyone can have fun comfortably. We use top-quality products at European standards to keep control of health and safety. Another key factor is keeping up pace with technology. In short, we always endeavor to create an environment where our guests can have fun, feel safe and will want to come back again and again.
